New and Improved capabilities of Office 365 Document for SharePoint

These SharePoint collaboration tool is now full equipped with mobile solutions and remote access to their work file and documents, employees not only work productively on their own, but also given their contribution to shared projects with development partner situated in some other locations. Any changes they make to a file or document are instantly available to other users, while instant messaging and conferencing technology allows instant communication. Workers can use Office 365 to remain in constant contact wherever they are, making it really effective on inter-departmental projects and bring people at one place from different parts of the business.

2.Easy Sharing of business document links:

The recent improvements also include sharing OneDrive for Business document links, side-by-side editing of documents from the Outlook Web App and easier-to-access document permission controls. These new update supports iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones running the Outlook Web App.

The document conversations capability has a few dependencies at present. It works with documents saved into Microsoft’s cloud via SharePoint Online for Business. In addition, Office 365 users required to be using Office Online apps to access the Yammer chatting capability. In the current version this facility is not available. Office Online apps, formerly known as Office Web Apps, are versions of Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint and Word that run in a single browser.

3. Easy Yammer document conversations:

Microsoft also enables the Yammer document conversations for internal teams, using either public or private groups. It doesn’t work for users outside the corporate network. Users within a corporate Yammer group can see the conversations associated with a document, but they will still require permissions to access it.

4. More support for graph in office 365:

The documents can easily track using Microsoft’s Graph protocol. So, if file gets renamed, it gets tracked via a new link. Graph is also new information fabric for Office 365 that works across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Yammer. It supports new improved capabilities.

Moreover, Collaborators receiving a file or link to a file can easily edit it using the new side-by-side view in the Outlook Web App. This side-by-side view shows the e-mail on the right side of the Outlook viewing pane with the document attached being open for editing on the left side of the viewing pane.

In this recent update office365 become more smoothed and  steps associated with SharePoint become very easy. Office 365 becomes one of the strongest tools for the SharePoint development.
